Constructed from leftover material, "Brainiac" has a mixed origin, begin made of not only old sneakers, but purses, pants, and other leather products. The base for the shoe was a sneaker that was falling apart at the seams and completely unwearable. Grafting the scraps to this sneaker resulted in a new experimental form, that presents as futuristic, almost alien silhouette. Extra thick soles help plant the shoe solidly on the ground, perfect for

rubble runways.
